My first HSR event in several years and I was very impressed with their running of the event... weather was perfect and the racing was great, there were 4 TR's in attendance, Tim Stoddard had his TR3, Alan Goode's TR4A, my TR3A and Bill Warner's TR6.  There were 32 cars in our group.   I had a hard time getting my mind to work on Saturday but was able to pull 4 sec. a lap out of my Sat. Time on Sunday.  Alan and I had a race long dual which saw him pass me on the  last lap in the next to last corner...he finished about 2 feet in front of me at the finish line.  Tim beat both of us on Sat. and packed up, but Alan and My times were up to his on Sunday & it would have been a real fight if he had stayed.  I know it would be quite a hall for most of you, but it really is an event worth looking at.  The track is unique in that turns 3,4,5 &6 are banked as they amble through the resort's golf course.  The place was packed with spectators on Sat & you even saw golfers standing by the greens looking at the race!  It almost felt like I was back on my race bike because of the rhythm you got swooping through them. There were a number to teams from Ohio and north in attendance along with Chris Beighton in Mustangs and Sean Brown in a very fast Escort both from the UK.  Well, it's off to Daytona on the 10th.
