I checked the weights of the 4 TR3 connecting rods that I have.  Three are 947 grams and the fourth is 946 grams.  Pretty amazing for 1950’s era manufacturing technology!!  This is with the bolts, no big end bearings installed and the small end bushing installed.

 

All the rods have the same numbers on the sides:

 

201448   13339Z7 on one side and 

 

EN167 on the other side.  I think from previous posts, this is the type of steel in European terms.

 

I checked a set of TR4 rods and they have the same markings.  Apparently both engines used the same conn rods.
