[Fot] Fw: Sad News - Kevin Lynch has passed away.

Here is an except of an email he (Kev) sent me a year or to ago about GT6's. Thought it was well said.....

But I've just found their unique & graceful shape more than make up for
their geometrical suspension shortcomings. The thumbs up & smiles being
trailered here & there over the years.
So with that said, I've learned given enough time, patience, & cautious
checkbook one can run a 'front' to 'mid-pack' car that has the elegance not many
of the others have. They are so rare in this day & age. It is as if we are
stewards to something like a rock star.
A bit edgy, stylishly different needing a steady hand &
discipline, but with a throaty note @ full chat that'll teach you not to forget
your earplugs @ your pit as your ears will ring the rest of the week @ work,
reminding you of what some folks only dream of doing... <grin>
Kev

Thanks,
Chuck Watson

That is sad. Too damn young to be leaving this world...I'm sure the racing crowd will miss him and perhaps have a special remembrance gathering in his memory at the next event.
RIP Kevin

Vince

It is with great sadness to announce a member of the RMVR's family has passed. We learned that Kevin Lynch died unexpectedly last Saturday, Feb. 27th.

Kevin has been a fixture around RMVR since joining back in 1997 either racing his white Triumph GT-6 or serving in many capacities including event stewards and/or involvement in organizing the annual Drivers' School.
A neighbor across the street from Kev noticed that the garage door was left open all Sat. night. He went to the house Sunday AM to investigate and found him lying on the living room couch. Apparently Kevin died sometime Saturday afternoon or evening.

His only known relative is a brother in San Francisco but nobody has been able to reach him. Apparently there are no local relatives. If anyone has any info on family contacts, please call RMVR's Administrator, Jess Norwood, 303-319-3062 and she'll get the info to those concerned.

 Kevin was 64 years old.

Currently there is no information on any services for Kevin but some remembrance will no doubt evolve.
