 Greetings all,
As I am about to embark on an engine build, otherwise known as open the wallet,
I have a question on what needs to be done to a Spitfire stock small journal 1300 crankshaft.

I have poured over all things Kasner and see the need to cross drill the large journal 1300 crank
but do I need to do the same for the small crank?

I see Kas’ recommendation to have it nitrated.

What else might I need to have done to it?

Thanks in advance,
Don
