[Fot] Helmet dates per CSRG

Everyone please remember that Snell recommends that helmets be replaced after 5 years of use.  I certainly know that my old 2005 helmet was much looser fitting at the end of last season.  Also, in addition to belts and harness the Hans strap is dated for replacement every 5 years as well....I found SA2015 Bell helmets available from several sources.

Many vintage organizations have followed SCCA and are allowing 2005 Snell date helmets through 2016 due to the late  date of acceptance and low production of 2016 certified helmets:
"SCCA will continue to accept SA2005 helmets through the 2016 racing season.
As of January 1 2017, SCCA will require SA2010 or newer helmets."

Please check with CSRG on this. Another expense I'm hoping to avoid in this expedition!
