With Jon Ellison, it's brillance or bust. Every now and then he is a guest
driver in the german TR Competition.
 Most drivers have an arguement with him sooner or later, often besides the
track and mostly because of his character. I like his character and his
driving and never did see him doing unfair things in racing. He will bold
tell you he is the best, so what? I like it more than someone who is
complaining that he could win or be the best, if only...
Twelve years ago Jon did sell me a race ready TR4 cylinder head, together
with  dyno tested HS8 SU's and manifold for 1000 pounds, because the
cylinderhead didn't deliver the promised 220(!) bhp Meanwhile I've tried
other cylinderheads for racing but Jon's cylinderhead proved always to be
the better one and now it has got new seats, guides and springs for the 2016
race season. Some year ago, he switched from his TR4 to his current TR6. He
tried an aluminium cylinderhead on his TR4 for a couple of years, but could
not solve the headgasket problems. He tried steel frames on top of the head
and other things.

Dear all,

That is Jon Ellison in the yellow TR6 (Richard is is dad). It is Chris
Edwards (I think) in the white TR6. The driver of the white TR5 is well
known to you all from Mid-Ohio way back in 2002, it is Chris Petch; nice,
close and clean racing.
