The Standard Triumph Forum is a meeting of representatives of the Standard Triumph Clubs in the UK with a view to working together for the benefit of all our members and enthusiasts, whether that is to share information and advice or to organise the annual event, the Standard Triumph Marque Day.

Following the death of Harry Webster in 2007 to commemorate his life and his exceptional contribution to Standard Triumph (recognising his involvement in the manufacture of virtually every Standard Triumph model during his working life) the Forum members agreed to make an annual award in his name. Each Club has an opportunity to nominate candidates and has one vote for the person they consider to have made the most significant contribution to the Standard Triumph movement.

In 2016 the vote of the Standard Triumph Forum awarded the Harry Webster Memorial trophy to you, Kas Kastner, following a nomination from the Honorary President of the TR Register.

It is our great pleasure to make the 2016 award to someone who has been so instrumental in the race history of the Triumphs in the United States of America since the early 1960s both as a driver and with the development of the performance of standard production cars and as an author of many books on the subject.

The original trophy is a model of the Standard Triumph Monument which stands on the site of the factory in Coventry. Because of the distance involved the TR Register have arranged to send to you a memento of the award, which should arrive soon.

Our very sincere congratulations to you, Kas, and our grateful thanks for your significant achievements on behalf of Standard Triumph.
