[Fot] crank dampers

Brian, a couple years ago I sent mine to the Damper Doctor, in California. They did a great job on it.
I put marks on the damper every 60 degrees from the TDC mark to make a half-baked degree wheel; works great for adjusting valves. Set to TDC, adjust number 1, turn to the next mark and adjust 5, and so on down the firing order.
Cheers, Bill

Subject: [Fot] crank dampers
Hi FOT'rs
As a short term means to an end I need to install a stock crank damper on my GT6.
I'd like to upgrade (later) but quick look around showed API, no Triumph damper, Richard Good has a set up but the I'd be forever having to remember I cannot use a stock water pump pulley, other than that, all I see are rebuilds and stock versions.
Input?
Thanks
Brian
