[Fot] More GoPro

I use my Smart Phone and run my GoPro from an app, works pretty good and you can preview and review your recordings. And yes I have the same situation with the 12 minutes (I thought mine was 14 minutes) and I have no problem with it.

Since I have no GoPro, I am speculating here, but couldn't you wire it to an auxiliary power port (cigarette lighter socket) like you do with GPS or Radar Detectors?

Yup, mine is the same way. I found it awkward but got over it. My displeasure is with the remote control. The battery only last 20 to 25 minutes and when it dies it shuts the camera off. I talked to the good folks at GoPro and they suggested I buy one of their auxiliary batteries and hook it up to the remote using the charging cord. I tried to explain that the remote was mounted to the dash in a race car and that was not the best of ideas and it did not compute on their end. Any ideas on making the remote battery last longer?

perfectly normal. The GoPro cameras use a FAT32 file system (or exFAT) which has a file size limit of 4GB. If you set your resolution high then you reach 4GB sooner. No big deal, and it's actually a pretty good idea for longer videos anyway-if a file gets corrupted it doesn't kill the whole video.

I have a GoPro Hero 4 which I could use some help with please.

It takes good videos but it wants to stop recording at 12 minutes and start up a new video. Can someone help me my settings to remedy this?

I don't seem to have a 12 year old in the area to ask.

    Thanks
