I was about to write a similar response...
And If Moss thinks this will limit their liability, imagine the court case, Moss rep is on the stand, lawyer for client injured on a rack that failed while on a picnic drive with his wife in the mountains...
"Sir, can you explain why your company repeatedly offered the disclaimer that your rack wasn't suitable for racing?"

I, for one, would MUCH rather have my steering fail while driving at 60-85 mph around Blackhawk Farms Raceway than while driving 55 mph down some public road. At least at Blackhawk I'd stand a pretty good chance of running into a tire barrier instead of into a crowd of people or parked car or a stand of maple trees.

But any kind of disclaimer that a component like this is fine for street use but unsuitable for racing is absurd. My personal injury practice partners would have a field day with that.

The information that I was given at a meeting face to face with MOSS in london have me the impression that some testing had been done, but the solution to the problem really had not been found (ie do the job properly).
