FYI     Thanks to Jason, I was able to talk to Phil Jannes, Mid-West Council #46 62-TR4, 62 > 68.  Not on the internet but loves to talk "Back-In-The-Day" racing,  Let me know if anybody wants his contact info.
 
Mike Mehl is now running #46 in the NW.  You can't kill a good tractor.

Yeah, I remember him well.  He and I used to talk often since I
had (and still have) a street TR-3.  He was a really great guy
to talk with.  Sadly, I have not stayed in touch with since I
left Colorado.

Had a TR3 fromColorado possibly a factorycar?
 

I can't find anything on him but myfriend (Triumph car club member) has his car and sadly turned it back to astreet car.
