[Fot] Engine Number???

[Diesel Performance Parts - Info]

This is in a Spitfire that is for sale locally. Has engine number DM5221ESS, I don't recognize that as I am used to seeing FM, FK prefix numbers. Does anyone know what engine this is??
It's in a 1970 body and looks to be original.
