[Fot] crankcase vent catch can

How you run your plumbing has a lot to do with how much oil winds up in the can. Your big vent has air movingrelatively slowly, which means if it got up at a steel angle a lot of the entrained oil will condense on the tube walls and drop back into the crankcase. Modern dry sum cans use a swirl separator. You can so something similar in the oitlet to get more oil back into the motor. If you separate the oil and water cans then you can pipe the drain line back to the engine without harm.

Otherwise, a cup of oil is no big deal.

Well, not too good at judging an oil mess on the floor, but guess it looks like maybe a good cup? This is more than I have had before, but this is a new catch can.
