It will be interesting to compare the grip of the brand new asphalt with the old section in the same course loop, especially if it is a little wet.  Also there wont be any tire wear to show the line of the new corners, except perhaps skid marks.

who's going to the Pittsburgh International Racetrack for the VRG races this weekend?
The usual suspects - John Styduhar, myself and I'm guessing Mike Moore will be there.  The extended track opens for the first time, adding a south loop and roughly doubling the length of the track.
