[Fot] Engine ID help

[Diesel Performance Parts - Info]

Hey membership,

Got a guy with a 1296 complete engine I think I might want to buy for a race spare.
He says the stamped engine number starts with a CE or GE.
He thinks it's a Herald 1296 small crank engine.

1st off is it a 1296 small crank
2nd is it the same as a Spitfire 1296 small crank??

All help is appreciated.
