[Fot] Car/Racing short films

BMW made a series of films about 10 years ago, probably 8 films that were each about 10 minutes long.  Obviously they were advertising, but they were pretty good "car guy" action films.  The series was called "The Hire", each film had it's own story line, kinda like Rendezvous in that they are 9 1/2 minutes of driving action and 1/2 minute of dialog.  I wanna say they used several famous directors.  High budget little films worth watching, they're probably on youtube.

"The Racers". Staring Kirk Douglas. The late John Fitch did some of the stunt driving in this one. Even though it isn't about cars and probably my favorite, "The World's Fastest Indian" is a terrific movie about the tenacity of a man and his racing at Bonneville. Ken Suhre

I have “Rendezvous” and Pink Floyd’s “La Carrera Panamericana”.  I’m looking to put together a 90-120 minute movie night list for a local group of car club people – midwinter, cabin fever kind of thing.
