Surely the loss of a memorable part of my racing.  I made several trips to TWS with my road race bikes.  One to remember was when I was in the lead in the 350cc class and a teenager named Freddy Spencer showed up and cleaned my clock....to even show less respect for his elders. He continued to run WERA events and I finished with the # 2 plate for the year!

This is just a reminder that your last opportunity to run at historic Texas World Speedway is rapidly approaching. CVAR's last event will be the end of Feb. In May, TWS becomes a master planned community. Come join the TxFOT faithful and send TWS out with a bang.

For those north of the Red River, we can end up with absolutely gorgeous weather in late Feb here.

Another reminder from your friendly race chairman, CVAR’s last race at TWS is fast approaching Feb 20-22. We already have 87 people entered including 14 students. Please register early so we can plan for the ENORMOUS turn out.
