I'm curious to see what other answers come up. Steve Smith used to prep the uprights to accept Datsun stub axles and (I think) TR6 halfshafts - see Kas' first book for photos.
My car came to me with the uprights modified to accept larger (unknown origin) bearings and Corvair stub axles, with the Corvair wheel flange turned down and re-drilled for the Triumph bolt pattern, and Spicer halfshafts. They've been trouble-free for me; I'm about to pull them apart for servicing and probably have a duplicate set of uprights made up so they'll be interchangeable with what's on my car. I believe Lotus Europa owners also swapped out for the corvair stub axles at the time. This was the solution "back in the day". Any good driveshaft shop can make up the halfshafts.
BTW - these are the stub axles from the articulated independent rear second series Corvair, not the early Nader swing axle cars.
You can see some photos of my car's rear suspension at http://www.britishracecar.com/ScottJanzen-Triumph-GT6.htm
Today, though, you might want to go the Datsun route for better availability, and look at the write-up in Kas' 2010 boo on Chuck Gee's car, which uses a hybrid of Datsun and some cool CV joint axles.

Where do we go, who do we talk to about a competition rated rear hub and axle setup for a roto GT6? We can get the axles built locally, but are having a hard time discovering hub options. Would prefer purchasing a race proven combination of axle and hub setup.
Thanks for any help.
