Perhaps no one will care, but our little 3 (other than a transmission problem in the 1 st VIR ---not our fault) ran without incident for 7 races this season and the same number in 14. Inspection of the motor shows main and rod bearings are worn, but in good shape, leak-down shows slight leak in #2 & 4, probably valves & NO HEAD GASKET PROBLEMS FOR TWO YEARS! In an abundance of precaution we will replace the bearings, rings and do a valve job…..one of Peter’s shocks is leaking a bit so they are going back to him for some tender R&R. It is really neat to go to a race, run the event & put it back in the trailer, While some may say I am superstitious, I carry a block of wood to tap on from time to time. Happy holidays to everyone, don’t eat too much remember more weight = less speed! Cheers…….
