As of yesterday we had 125 entrants for our event this coming weekend... A
success for CVAR and that's good news for me as a member. We were all hoping
for 30-40 Triumphs for the event but it looks like now around 17-18 ... still
a pretty good turn out but not as much as we expected. No worries because with
the British Small Bore Fest on Saturday looking like about 50 cars it's still
going to be a very British event. Exciting !!!

I big THANK YOU up front for
all the FoT guys and gals making the trek to North Texas... I've done my very
best to make this event really special... and I think you guys are all going
to enjoy the track and the attitude of the CVAR staff and the crew of Eagles
Canyon.

Be sure to come up the hill and check out Pinnacle Auto Sports. They
are a world class speed shop, and race preparation facility and will be on
hand this coming weekend for simple needs. If you get the chance, you'll see
my GT-6+ there in the shop, not on the track, so give it a good luck rub and a
prayer. The engine is just not right after a new re-build and attempting a
test twice to see if it would run... still binding up, so instead of a hope
and a prayer I've decided to pull the engine, again, this summer and have the
whole thing machined ...again...

I will be running my 1965 #54 AS Mustang
and will paddock some with FoT... I'll even put a Union Jack on my Mustang to
show I'm still in the game....

Looking forward to the festivities! You
guys and gals all travel safe and I will see you soon!
