Wishbone Classics (located in New York state) has completed the design for
a billet aluminum distributor pedestal for the TR 2-4 engine and is ready
to go into production. The piece will be CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6
aluminum and does not include the mechanical tach drive take-off. Weight
of the billet pedestal is .8 pounds, which is almost 2 pounds lighter than
the stock cast iron unit. The price will be $185 each, which will include
three of the paper shim gaskets needed to set the proper end float for the
gear. Shipping will be a flat $13 via USPS Priority Mail medium flat rate
box anywhere in the USA, this is for up to 4 units in the same box. They
can quote international shipping prices on an individual basis.
Five units are currently on order and I am asking if there is additional
interest in a group buy this beautiful aftermarket piece.
Wishbone Classics will provide the option of having the aluminum
distributor tower hard anodized, the cost on a batch of hard anodizing
(satin black color) would be $240. So for 10 units, that would bump the
price $24 each. It would have to be done as a group though.
Production is going to take a few weeks to get done but I would like to
consolidate an order as soon as possible. Anodizing would be a few extra
days, maybe a week.
Let me know if you have any questions
Thanks
