The subject of configurations of Factory Optional Al-Fin drums has been very
well covered, especially by Kas. When I was getting ready to return to the
States in the summer of 1956, I bought, directly from the factory,  all the
spare parts that I thought I would need and could afford on a GI's pay.  Among
these spares were a full set of 10 in. Al-fin drums.  My car, at the time, was
a short door TR2, which had 10 in. rear drums. The drums had radial fins as
Kas has described, and the fins were  thick, substantial fins.
