If you buy a do it yourself kit, make sure it can do double flares.
Single flares are at least as bad as compression fittings.

Either buy ready made lines or get the necessary equipment to flare your
own.
There were discussions recently about the Cunifer alloy lines. Great stuff
and you can flare your own.
Compression fittings are not, in my opinion, a good idea on any vehicle.
My $0.02 worth.
