Jeff, contrary to what some folks do, you have to purchase your steering
wheel of choice and then the correct hub to fit the steering wheel, not the
other way around. Some wheel manufacturers have a limited number of wheel
types (diameter, dish, etc.), so you first want to find the steering wheel
that suits your fancy and then purchase the quick release hub that is made
for that manufacturer's wheel. Avoid the use of hub adapters. Also,
purchase the quick release housing and hub as a matched pair. Mine is a
circular-splines unit so I can fine tune the steering wheel for centering.
Finally, if you buy a weld-on hub, be careful welding. Don't foul the
splines and don't overheat or the hub will shrink and the housing will fit
loose.
