[Fot] Diff case spreader

Squeeze it vertically to spead horizontally. I have blocks that I formed a
little bit with an angle grinder that cup the bottom edge, and one that holds
the top. You run the press down, supporting the input shaft end to keep it
vertical with the axle shaft tubes angled through the press on each side of
the legs to give you access to the inside of the banjo. Put just t little
pressure on itjust a bit more than enough to hold it, and give a tug. If the
diff doesnt come right out try levering a little with a long tire iron. If it
doesnt come easily give it a little more squeeze.

This approach is a lot easier for getting the shimming right too. Its a lot
easier to put and pull the diff to get the blued marks on the gear teeth just
right.

I made a case spreader, but I had to really herk on it to get the diff out,
the squeeze method works so much better that I recycled my spreader for
another project.

diff loosens right up. You dont need to herk on it.
