[Fot] MPH towing...

My Tundra gets around 11 mpg when hauling our 7x14 enclosed trailer and
perhaps 15 or 16 when towing the aluminum single-axle flatbed with the Morgan
on it (I'll check again this weekend). The Vixen 21td motorhome, which
usually got 23-25 mpg with its BMW turbodiesel engine, dropped to around 18
mpg pulling the aluminum trailer and race car but it was very tiring having to
monitor the EGT gauge so closely to keep from burning up the engine due to the
extra load, so I won't be trying that again. Sprinters have been on my radar
for some time now and I may end up with one, particularly if I find one that
has a simple weekender camping package.
