we tow with a 2007 Toyota Hilux 4 cyl diesel, we have a
fully enclosed trailer with car & spares weighing 2000-2400kg depending on
what car we have on board and what spares we load. we get  8.5 litres/100km
unloaded mixed use (no trailer) and it drops to around 12litres/100km
towing the trailer, so about 20MPG. cruises at 110kph on good highway, when
towing.
