[Fot] alternative seats for TR6

Terry: Uncle Jack did design and build brackets which mount Miata seats into a
TR. They are currently being sold by Joe Alexander / ARE. I ordered some a
couple of weeks ago and they are very nice units. The nice thing about Miata
seats is that you can get them with speakers in the headrests which make
listening to a stereo much more enjoyable/possible.

The NB Miata seats years '99-'05 are very comfortable and relatively
inexpensive.  Generally you can get a pair for $200 or so and are readily
available locally on Craigslist or local Miata Club.

has anyone found an alternative seat that will fit into a TR5/250 or TR6
(road use, not race car)?. i've looked at some Toyota MR2 ones, and they
are close, but just a little bit too wide at the front.
