TEAM Triumph Sports Owners Associating, Victoria Australia had another
fantastic race result! http://www.tsoavic.com/

REPORT ON SANDOWN 6 HOUR REGULARITY RELAY 26th February, 2012.

This is the third time The Porsche Club of Victoria has run a Regularity
Relay at Sandown. This year other clubs were invited to participate, which
broadened the interest in the event, and as the results showed it was not
dominated by Porsche teams. In fact, out of 23 teams there were 9 non
Porsche, with Holden, Jaguar, Triumph, Alfa, and mixed teams making up the
grid.

Each driver did a fantastic job with VERY FEW laps under the nominated
times, which reflected in the final results. There were NO mechanical
problems, so the cars ran faultlessly during the event, so each driver had
their share of track time.

The final results were:

First: The Colonel's Men (Porsches) 56.5762 points,

Second: TEAM TRIUMPH 56.5116

Third : Autocure Motor Sport (Holdens) 54.0254

What a fantastic result for us, and this, added to a previous win at Winton
a couple of years ago, and good placings at Phillip Island, keeps TSOA

up with the best. We don't need $300,000 cars to be competitive!

Sandown History: History - Built in the early 60's, Sandown's Motor Circuit
has long stood as the premium car racing circuit in Melbourne. Names such as
Fangio, Moss, Brabham, Brock, Skaife and Richards all having competing round
the fast and famous circuit.
