Do just that, "use it" and abuse it. For me, I see it as a totally replaceble piece of machinery that I would drive at the absolute limit. I compare my driving now to my championship kart racing days... Its totally different. Now I care about my precious "irreplaceable" Triumph to much. It makes me too cautious, because I want to put it on the trailer unscathed after a race. When I raced Karts I never once thought about my kart making it back on the trailer looking good. I drove to win. Period.
Drive that ugly, common, piece of sh#t to the absolute f'ing limit of adhesion.
Win all your races in "GTA" and beat the snot out of it road warrior style.
That's what I would do.

seems like the folks at SCCA thought I was experienced enough to by-pass the
SCCA requirements to let me stand on my own record and incident free racing
experiences...
they issued me a LICENSE to race in SCCA.... now.... if I knew how to drive the
GTA car I could really go out there and use it....
