I would say the toe in is okay. I think not enough negative camber.
For a street car I would suggest -1.5 degree.

Subject: [Fot] Toe-in question on TR4

Amici,

My question is on my street TR4. I've rebuilt the steering rack,
replaced the tie rod ends, new Kumho 195/65R15 tires on new mini-lite
replicas. Stock front suspension components with the 3 degree castor
trunnions. The suspension is tight with no slop in the steering that I can
detect. Toe-in has been set to 1/16" (I read somewhere that for radials this
would be the appropriate setting). Smaller diameter later TR6 steering wheel.
The problem is when coming into a turn and when you first start turning the
steering wheel the car acts like it wants to start turning and then it feels
like you're plowing into the corner and it seems to not want to make the turn.
It takes two hands on the steering wheel to make the turn. Also in straight
ahead driving it seems real twitchy. In other words a slight movement of the
wheel either direction and it seems to over react.

So, is this a toe-in
problem? If so do I need more toe-in or less toe-in?

Years ago I had a 73
TR6 and I don't remember this kind of response from the steering.

Other than
this issue the car rides smooth as glass.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Brad
