Russ, I ran into the same problem this year when I upgraded to a GoPro HD
from the original GoPro (Low def?). Hours of upload and then rejection. I
had to upgrade (free) my account. There's a link on the rejection page. You
verify your contact info and they text you a code. After I did that, no
problem uploading 20 minute full race videos. I'd still recommend editing
the raw file, I use the free movie maker program that comes with Windows.
The file size bloats during the conversion to a *.wav file but it's fairly
easy to use and you can add titles, credits, cut out sections and even add
a sound track.
