Hi Bill,

Unfortunately I fried the Pretronix in the Delco distributor so I can't try
anything with that set-up Though it did have a new good rotor in it along with
a new cap with brass contacts. Right now I have the Mallory Points Unit and
set-up in And this did work fine before the rebuild. I will try your
suggestion a replace the rotor and see if I have any luck.

Thanks,
Bob T

Joe Hovey, with me helping, rebuilt the engine on the #8 before the Mitty.
When we fired it up for the first time, it had the same misfire you describe.
We went through all the steps you have, and when nothing worked, Joe popped
off the Pertronix cap and put a new blue rotor in. It fired right up and
ran on all four like a dream. Old rotor looked fine... ?

Blue spare is in the track box and got one for the Dr.
