[Fot] TR3 Brake problem

Dear fot,
I have been recently nominated and seconded as a member and this is my first
post I guess I'm supposed to write something about myself first......and I
will after RA.
My problem is trying to up grade from the early TR3 Calipers to 16P style. I
was under the assumption they would work with 10-3/4 rotors but no go. Either
the rotor is too large in dia. or I need to grind clearance into the caliper.
Anyone been here before that can offer advise?
