In a startling victory for British sports cars, the team of John Nikas and
Andy Reid in a 1953 Austin Healey 100 swept the inaugural Mille Miglia
North America Tribute finishing first in all seven stages beating a Ferrari
500 TRC, 500 Mondial, 250 Tour de  France, three Boanos (including one
driven by Alan de Cadenet, a 212 Mexico, an Allard, several Alfa Romeos and
other cars. We also took the Particpant's Choice Trophy, Best Driver and
the Spirit of the Mille Award. We also had an FOT sticker on the driver's
door and a VTR grill badge on the car. Gordon Gibbons TR3 finished third
overall as well.
