[Fot] Data Acquisition - experience with Innovate Motorsports?

I have two different boxes from Innovate in my street car and have had
nothing but problems. They seem to work fine just long enough to get your
hopes up, then it gets flaky, intermittent and finally gone. Some times
re-flashing the boxes will fix it for a short period of time, but it is a
bigger PITA than it is worth.

That said, their a/f meter seems reliable. Anything more complicated than
that and they fall flat of their faces.

My experience with support was mixed. They never really fixed anything, but
they keep sending new boxes without cost.

Their OBD-II wireless device seems to work OK in a modern car, but seeing
any more than one screen at a time and, at least on the Iphone, gets very
difficult. I would love to play with it on a laptop or Ipad. I haven't
played with the logging feature on that product. My problem is that gives
me a lot of good information, but I don't tune my modern, so it's a little
bit more just a curiosity rather than valuable information, at least to me.

My $0.02 (or in this case about $200 :-) ) Your mileage may vary.
