I just had my first track day at Hallett.  I got a groupon for half price and
took advantage of it.  It was for high speed touring.  I did the driver's
school, and had an instructor ride with me the first time out.  I am running a
stock TR6 with 205-15 Michelins on Panasport wheels.  I put upgraded brakes on
the front and was very pleased with their performance.  I was basically a
moving roadblock so I just waved people by.  It's hard to keep up with a WRX
and the rest of the cars.  I did 3 sessions and called it a day.  I had a
blast!  I'll probably do it again in the spring and try to take the GT6 out.
