In Europe there is as little, or even less ZDDP than in US. Oils sold in the
US are not sold in Europe and vice versa (example: Shell Rotella range is
very different)
Modern engines are designed to live without ZDDP, which is simply a very
high pressure additive, and our flat tappets engines were designed with and
for these oils with high ZDDP content.
I researched a lot last year and only a few brands explain the point. There
is MILLERS OIL in the UK, as one member pointed out. Then depending what
cam, tappets, spring pressures and set up you have, your engine can -more or
less- live without ZDDP.
I do not take a chance, I ordered Brad Penn from the US, and also Crane
break in additive to supplement European market oils!
