Sorry folks, I had a brain fart when typing.  As many respondents 
correctly assumed, I meant "residual pressure valve".  That said, out of 
9 data points there was no consensus about whether to use one in the 
disk circuit or not.  In any case it seems like a good idea for me to 
get Uncle Jack's uprated front axle kit - something I should have 
already done.
