I didn't ask for me - a friend has this thing at the car and needs help how
to operate it.

Great FOT!

You flatter me, Joe. I'm just trying to help in return for all the help
I've gotten over the years.

But since you put it that way, perhaps I should mention that the Judson is
an inferior design by today's standards. If you are serious about building
a blower TR motor, you'd be far better off looking for a modern Eaton. Or
if it has to be vintage, a period Rootes. Compared to the Roots type
blower, the Judson is less efficient, meaning it takes more power to turn
(for a given boost & flow) and also heats the mixture more (making
detonation more likely).

They also have a nasty habit of shedding abrasive phenolic bits into the
intake.
