My recent post about possible "sloppy"B sliding spline rear axles on my street
TR6 provedB not to be the problem after an inspection.B  It now appears there
might be excessive "play" in the stock diff which was determined by jacking up
theB rear of the car, putting it in gear then rockingB a wheel back and
forth.B  I could move the wheel a fair amount beforeB I could feelB it engage
the diff.B  B I compared this withB myB TR4 racerB which was almost no "play"
but that might not be a valid comparison as the TR4 has a Quaiffe LSD.B  How
much "play" should there be in a stock TR6 diff assuming the spline axles are
in good shape?B  Thanks.
