It would seem that it would work best with a closed system.

We have used the existing nipple on the OEM valve cover for about 13 years. It
might be baffled with simple 'top hat' tab strip, but sucking copious amounts
of oil out has never been an issue.

Tech responds positively when I explain the concept....when they do ask.

In order to avoid questions, I think Sean is going add a dummy tank.

If you are over 60, apparently you get more respect....Sean's hair is not grey
enough.

BTW, THIS IS NOT A NEW IDEA......and it has other benefits in reducing
turbulence in the crankcase and aids in sealing the rings.....according to
technical reports.  Long used by dragstrip and stock car guys....pretty clever
folks they are, and their parts can be a lot cheaper.

Bottom line to us was a dry chassis after a hard weekend at high speed.

Cheap/Effective
