As long as we substitute used, stock parts, they are free. Fan belts and
other
"consumables" are OK new. We have some leeway as we're considerably
slower in a
straight line than most cars on the course. If we were in danger
of winning
something, we'd be looked at a lot closer... :-)

Too bad the
weekend was frustrating, but at least you were running at the end.
My
question is: Does the cost of the parts you replace at the track count
against the amount you spend on the car? Or are these parts considered "free"?
