[Fot] My TR3A has a 12 quart sump.

Kind of like the time when I was about 16 and was going to impress my dad
with my mechanical ability. I drained the oil in his Chevy pickup, replaced
the filter element, and started pouring in the fresh oil. You guessed it;
I'd forgotten to replace the drain plug. The sound of fresh oil hitting the
drain pan had me scurrying to replace the plug. He wasn't impressed!
Although over the next 30 years or so I did make up for it by repairing many
of his tractors, trucks, and other equipment. I guess I made up for the lost
quart or so of oil.
Happy Decoration Day, Bill
