As the poster boy for ADD, I considered it my duty to have done every possible
combination of screwing up an oil change, from not draining the oil before
adding, to leaving the drain plug out, to leaving the oil filter off, to
forgetting to replace the oil filter, to forgetting to drain the oil before
dropping the pan. My crowning glory was forgetting to put the oil pan back on
after a fevered in the paddock piston/cylinder replacement. Two quarts,
straight to the tarmac.
