[Fot] light weight batteries

When I was autocrossing Tiny Tim, I used the battery out of one of those
portable starter units. The battery was about 3" by 7" by about 5" high and
extremely light. I always carried a full size battery and cables in case it
ran out of juice but never had to use it. My main concern was initial
startup, but apparently the battery held enough charge for several starts.

A full charge before the event was enough to last the whole day.

Loosing weight on a TR4:

I also use the odyssay 620 in 90% of the cars that I build. Avg. life span
is
3-4 years.

I have made Cast/ heat treated Alloy to T6 Brake caliper mounts. Saves 1.5
lbs
and also I have made c/moly tubular sway bars. 4.5lbs less than the solid
7/8's bar. Can do 3/4 also. Bars are also h/treated.

PM if interested.

Thx

Tony
