I have what I believe to be a set of your TR3/4 Nylatron Rocker Arm
Spacers (sourced from Moss).  Once I have the rocker gear assembled, as
I slide it on the pedestal bolts it is pretty tough to get the pedestals
to line up with the bolts.  I have to compress the assembly from the
front of the car to get the pedestal holes to line up with the bolts.
Then I have to push down pretty good to get the whole assembly to set
down onto the head.  As you can imagine, once I have done this, the
rocker arms themselves are very difficult to rotate.  So I have a couple
of questions before I torque things down and set the valve lash:
1.	Are these to be installed with a side clearance between the
spacer and the rocker arm?  What is the spec?
2.	Do they install tight and wear in?
3.	Were they meant to be a cut to fit application?
4.	What are the correct measurements for the various spacers?
5.	What is the best way to shave a few thousands off this material?
Flat surface and 600 cloth?
 
I am using a set of the special rocker arm pedestals that support the
ends of the rocker shaft sourced from British Frame and Engine.  I have
not put the calipers to the pedestals yet, maybe they are slightly
thicker than stock?
