[Fot] Storing engine blocks

Hi

Bear in mind that concrete is porous and sweats in humid conditions, wood tends to absorb moisture.

My advice for storing metal bits mechanical and pieces is to coat in light oil (spray duck oil etc.), wrap in cling film and store so that air can circulate around ..... Works for me in steel containers, so should work anywhere. Avoid a garage where your other half has a tumble drier - these are the work of the devil. I'd rather wear wet pants ....

A more festive way to store them would be to paint them bright colors and hang
them from the ceiling. Okay that may not be an option but I would store them
off the ground on a rack to help keep them dry.
