It does blend in the dashboard during the recording but you are also free to
do the blend in later at the PC.

Chris,

What brand of data logger is it? I'm using the Traqmate system. I've only
logged a couple races so

far but already seeing where I can improve. The Traqmate system has a similar
dashboard

but I don't have the software yet to sync up the data to my video..

Well,
after I met the racing team which does distribute these datalogger system
they installed it to my car for the Nordschleife event and they chose a
dashboard design for the event.
The equipment did very well I would say and so I bought it then. But I was
unhappy with the dashboard design...but now I have a new dashboard on the
screen which should be more suitable for a historic car:
