[Fot] TR3 query

Hello All,
Can anyone help with commission # TS69978L, engine # TS48253E ?
Where do these numbers fit into total production? Likely year of  
manufacture? The plate adjacent to the Commission plate says:
          T R I U M P H
             S T C - 6 2
I've never noticed this plate on other TR3's. It is screwed on unlike  
the comm. plate which it riveted. Might it signify 1962?
And finally, might this be a 2138cc or did they all have CT numbers.
